An applicant must

Have B.Sc. Or B.Ed. degree in mathematics

In related fields with minimum of 40 credits of undergraduate mathematics course

Meet the general University graduate admission requirements

Have sponsor or self support to cover his/her tuition fees.

Applicants who fulfill the admission requirements have to pass an entrance examination conducted by the department. The examination contributes 70% and the CGPA contributes 30% the final result in regard to the admission criteria. The minimum pass mark for the entrance examination is 20 out of 70.
